Morning Sand Workouts

We have finalized our morning sand workout schedule!  Workouts will be from 6:30am - 7:30am on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting next Thursday, September 23rd.  We are lucky to work alongside Seain Cook, a recent addition to the Team USA beach volleyball roster and is currently playing beach volleyball professionally.  He is a former player for the Scottish National beach team and played indoor and beach volleyball professionally overseas.  He brings a wealth of knowledge of sports training in the sand and he will be commuting all the way from Hermosa Beach to lead these awesome workouts!  The first 2 classes are by donation only!  Please help spread the word!!  

 

  • Registration: Please fill out the Registration form, HERE, if you have not already done so.

  • Who: Everyone and anyone who wants to workout!

  • When: Starting Thursday, September 23rd and continuing every Tuesday/Thursday

  • Time: 6:30 am - 7:30 am

  • Where: East Beach 

  • What: This is an effective, quick, and engaging workout through high intensity interval training.  We will condition using sport-based movements - sprints, jumping, changing direction, etc. -  that will help you become stronger, faster, and more explosive.  We will also incorporate basic beach volleyball movements!  Whether you are looking to improve your beach volleyball game or just get a quick, intense workout, this is the class for you!  

  • Cost: First two classes are Donation only! (We might keep or change this in the future).

    • Katie & Dana:  Katie currently plays AVP and internationally for Team USA, she is recovering from a torn ACL but will be using these same workouts to get back into competition shape when the time is right!  Dana played AVP and internationally after starting all 4 years as an outside hitter at a D1 college, she is also recovering from knee surgery. We have both been coached and trained by some of the best volleyball and fitness trainers in the business and we have both run East Beach Volleyball Academy for the past 5 years.
